Our mission at The Performance Lab is simple: "Provide our recreational and elite professional athletes with advanced recovery and regenerate solutions to get them back out on their fields of play with maximized performance"
What makes The Performance Lab different?
The Performance Lab is not your typical doctor's office, chiropractic clinic, rehabilitation centre or fitness studio so set aside any of the conventional stereotypes. This is The Lab. Our athletes are provided with individually tailored treatments and programs. We do not believe in taking on a cookie cutter approach to recovery. We pride ourselves on always providing advanced, modern and effective recovery and regeneration techniques based on sports science and researched based methods. Above all else our focus on biomechanics and functional evaluation and diagnosis sets us apart from the competition.
The Performance Edge
The Lab understands performance. Recovering from an injury is extremely hard, while regaining lost performance after an injury is extremely harder. The Lab is driven by Dr. Carmine Filice D.C, CSCS, who has dedicated his career to understanding the transition between recovery and performance. Carmine assesses an injury not only from a Sports Therapist's view but also from the eyes of a Strength Coach, allowing a maximized route to recovery. Before opening the doors to The Performance Lab in 2008, Carmine spent time working alongside an extensive amount of high level and well respected trainers, including The Peak Performance Project- a center in Santa Barbara, USA that focuses purely on training the elite athlete. Carmine has ample experience working with professional athletes such as World Champions, Olympians, and members of the MLB, AVP, NHL, UFC and MLS.
